In order to determine the issue, please investigate the following:
- Configurations:
- Is default schedule chosen?
- What basis is used for the calculation? Is it based on Basic Pay or Monthly Salary.
2. Check the employee’s Payroll Simulation and any other simulations that might be related.
- If it is the first cut-off of the month, the default payroll will simply compute the statutory based on the current calculation:
Basic Pay – 15,000.00
SSS – 675.00
Philhealth – 300.00
Pag-ibig – 100.00
b. If there is a preceding cut-off of the month, the default payroll will also need to consider the previous cut-offs:
Basic Pay – 15,000.00 (PREV) + 18,000 (CUTOFF 2)
SSS EXPECTED – 1,125.00
SSS Calculation – 1,125.00 – 675.00 = 450.00
3. Check the Statutory Table
- Go to employee information and click view on the statutory config:
b. Is the system using the correct statutory table?
