If overtime hours are not appearing in the Daily Time Record (DTR), there are four primary areas to check to resolve the issue:

1.    Review Overtime Form

•    Check if the Overtime Form was filed correctly.

•    Verify Date Needed, Start Time and End Time.

NOTE: Date needed should be based on the start of OT hours:

2.    Employee Information – Employee Setup

•    Navigate to the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page > Select Administration.

•    Select Employee Information > Choose the employee to edit.

•    Go to the Employee Setup page > In the Additional Compensation Configuration, ensure the Overtime option is enabled.

•    Go to the Employee Summary page and click Save.

3.    Shift Settings – Overtime Configuration

•    Click on the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page. Go to Administration.

•    From the Employee Information dropdown, select Shifts.

•    Edit the employee's assigned shift.

•    Ensure the Allow Overtime box is checked under shift rules then confirm if the Overtime Configuration is properly set up.

4.    Review Attendance Sheet Form

•    Verify if an Attendance Sheet Form has been submitted.

•    If a form has been submitted, ensure that overtime hours are correctly inputted in the form.

Example:

TIME IN: 8:00 AM

TIME OUT: 8:00 PM

OT IN: 5:00PM

OT OUT: 8:00 PM

Final Steps:

•    Once all items have been checked and corrected as necessary, reopen the DTR to apply the changes.

•    Submit the DTR again for approval to ensure that the updated overtime records are processed.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue of overtime not being reflected in the DTR. If the problem persists, further investigation may be required.
