1. Overview

This enhancement introduces a Work From Home (WFH) tagging feature within the system to support better classification of employee work arrangements. The feature enables organizations to distinguish between remote and office-based employees, improving reporting accuracy and operational visibility.


2. Feature Details

A new field, “Work From Home”, has been added as a checkbox within the employee profile.

  • Field Type: Checkbox
  • Label: Work From Home
  • Placement: Under the “On Maternity Leave” field


When selected, the employee is classified as Work From Home (WFH); otherwise, the employee is considered Office-Based by default.



3. System Impact

The Work From Home tagging is integrated across the following system components:

  • A new column for Work From Home is included in the employee data template
  • Supports tagging during data import/upload processes

3.2 Employee Bulk Update

  • The Work From Home field is available for mass update
  • Enables efficient management of employee work arrangements in bulk


3.3 Timelogs Report

  • Displays employee work arrangement (WFH or Office-Based)
  • Enhances monitoring and reporting of attendance and work setup
