There are different methods to extract biometric data from the biometric device, in this article we will be showing the steps using the ZKTeco IN02-A device.
If the brand of your biometric device is not yet in the system, please inform us the following details so we can add it in your system template.
- Biometric device brand
- Biometric device model
- Sample extracted file
Once we have received the following details and it is already added in the system, you will be able to extract and upload the file straight into the system. In the mean time, you have to convert your template into our default template to upload your logs.
The accepted file format in the system are: .csv, .dat, and .xls.
For ZKTeco IN02-A device, go to the Main Menu. Select USB Manager.
In USB Manager, select Download.
Select Attendance Data.
Select by Time Range. Choose Today.
DAT File will be downloaded and saved to your USB Drive.
Once you already have the file. You may now import the file in the HRIS system.
To import, click the profile icon in the upper-right corner of the page, go to Administration - click the drop down button in Employee Information - Time Logs.
In the Time Logs Module, select Import.
Choose ZKTeco Biometric Device.
Choose your company.
Click the file icon then select the file from the USB Drive then click Import.
Time Logs will now be added to the system and will automatically show in the Time Logs module.
